A two-storied house with a bit of history, well-saved and ready to welcome its new inhabitants was built in the 1980s. It consists of nine rooms, which include five bedrooms upstairs and four rooms such as a living room, a sports room with table tennis, a kitchen, a storage room, and a bathroom downstairs. There is a decent lavatory outside, next to the massive barn that was used as a storage space for woods and a chickenhouse. The back garden has apple trees, plum trees, gooseberry bushes and rosebuds. There is plenty of land for an orchard – Bakuriani is famous for a good harvest of delicious potatoes from Akhaltsikhe, which originates from Ukraine. The front garden has a parking space for two SUVs, between the mountain-ash trees and lilac bushes. Other seasonal flowers need to be planted in late spring each year. The house is uniquely situated in the town centre, on a relatively quiet street near the local school, shops and pharmacy. There is a summer market space in the vicinity that offers fruit and vegetables from neighbouring villages.
Bakuriani is famous for its outstanding nature, healthy climate, and skiing spots. It is a perfect resort both in winter and summer. A small family could move into this house to live there and rent a couple of rooms at the same time, therefore providing themselves with some income. A person with a business ability could rearrange the building into a small hotel making a higher profit even. Whatever you decide to do, you will definitely enjoy staying there if you are a nature-loving, healthy lifestyle follower and active sporty person. While we lived in Georgia we spent more of our time in Bakuriani, and even studied in the local school with friendly children who are so kind and genuine that they do not understand the meaning of 'bullying'. Now that we're living far away and hardly afford a visit to Bakuriani, we'd love to find similarly nice and kind people to keep the spirit of this house alive.
